POWER
- The dash cam battery will only hold a minimal amount of charge. You MUST keep the dash cam plugged in to a power source for continuous use
LCD TIMEOUT – IF YOUR SCREEN TURNS OFF
- Even with the screen off, the unit is continually recording as long as the blue light (by left-hand side buttons) is flashing.
- Press OK to turn the screen back on.
- Press OK again to turn off the recording feature. Flashing red dot should disappear.
- Press MENU twice. Should show the wrench icon.
- Using the arrow down button, scroll down to LCD Off and press OK.
- Should see OFF, 1 Min., 2 Min., and 3 Min. options.
- Use the arrow up button to go to OFF and press OK.
- Press MENU to return to the main screen.
- Press OK to begin recording. Red dot should be flashing next to the dash cam icon.
INFRARED LIGHT
- Press the Power button.
- Press it again to manually change the infrared setting. You should see a switch from the sun to the moon/star icons or vice versa.
- To set it automatically, press OK to turn off the recording feature.
- Press MENU twice. The wrench icon should be highlighted.
- Using the arrow buttons, scroll down to LED and press OK.
- Scroll down again to set to AUTO and press OK.
- Press MENU to return to the main screen.
- Press OK to begin recording. Red dot should be flashing next to the dash cam icon.
TRANSFERRING FILES TO YOUR COMPUTER
- Use the USB cable to connect the dash cam to the computer.
- Dash cam screen should be blue say DISK DRIVE.
- In your computer, find the drive with DCIM folder.
- Open the DCIM folder to view recordings (MOVI) and pictures (PICT) saved on the dash cam.
- Play, save and/or delete as needed.
